Flights & Airport Arrivals
Students should plan to arrive at one of the three airports that service New York City – John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK), LaGuardia Airport (LGA) and Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) on Thursday, January 23, 2020 before 12:00 p.m. (noon).
It is recommended to arrive at JFK or LGA as they are closer to the Queens College campus. Both JFK and LGA are less than 10 miles/16 kilometers from campus. Arrival at Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) is not the recommended option due to its distance, 35 miles/56 kilometers, and the cost of transportation to campus.
To come to campus, it is recommended to take a taxi or ride-share/TNC service (such as Uber or Lyft). Please be aware that there is significant construction work underway at LGA as part of a renovation project, so wait times for taxis and ride-share/TNC services can be longer than usual. If you have any questions, please contact the GSSP team at email@example.com.
